

Terry Greenwald
Terry: A Dedicated Leader in Las Vegas Hospitality
Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, Terry made Las Vegas his home in 1970. His impressive career in the city's vibrant hospitality industry began in 1972 when he joined Bartenders Union Local 165 as an Apprentice Bartender at the Sands Hotel, quickly rising to the rank of Bartender.
Terry was part of the opening team for the original MGM Grand (now Bally's) in 1973. He then returned to the Sands Hotel in 1975, remaining there until its closure in June 1996. His journey continued with the opening of the New York New York Hotel & Casino in January 1997, where he tended bar through 2005.
Throughout his career, Terry has been an exceptionally active union member. He served as a Shop Steward for most of his time at the Sands Hotel. His commitment to Local 165 deepened when he joined the Executive Board in 1994, was elected President in 1999, and in 2002, became Secretary-Treasurer/CEO, a role he holds to this day.

Outside of his professional endeavors, Terry is an avid marathon runner, having completed over 35 full marathons.
