Classroom Hours

Apprentice Training Program dates and fees are as follows:

1. Effective February 3, 2012 (Friday)-- Union Apprentices may begin registering for the March 2012 session.
   
2. UPON AVAILABILITY, on February 17, 2012 (Friday) — Non-Union Bartenders and Apprentices ** (who work a minimum of three days a week) may begin registering for the March 2012 session .
   
3. The course will run through July 19, 2012 and those enrolling will be required to pick a session consisting of (2) consecutive days (same start time) each week to attend classes for a total of 6 hours a week (classes are approximately 3 hours long).
   
4. A non-refundable fee of $50.00 will be due when registering for classes which covers the cost of materials. There will be an additional $45.00 monthly fee (for non-union bartenders/apprenticesonly) for each month while attending the training classes.
   
5. Eight (8) absences (providing they are not in consecutive order) are the maximum allowed. Anything more than that will result in being dropped from the program and must wait until registration begins for the next available session. Four (4) consecutive absences require a mandatory meeting with the Executive Director and eight (8) consecutive absences will result in being dropped from the program. Hours will not be carried over from one session to the next.
   
6. NOTE: Registration is at the Bartenders Union Office at 4825 W. Nevso Drive.
   **Classes will be held at the Culinary Academy of Las Vegas (Nevada Partners) at 710 W. Lake Mead Blvd., North Las Vegas, NV 89030

Registration times are from 8:00 am until 2:00 pm.

** Employment verification required at sign-up for non-union students (letter, employee badge, or paperwork identifying classification as Bartender or Apprentice) and a recent pay stub.
