Classroom Hours

Apprentice Training Program dates and fees are as follows:

1. Effective August 13, 2010 (Friday)-- Union Apprentices may begin registering for the September 2010 session.
   
2. UPON AVAILABILITY, on September 1, 2010 (Wednesday) — Non-Union Bartenders and Apprentices ** (who work a minimum of three days a week) may begin registering for the September 2010 session .
   
3. The course will run through March 3, 2011 and those enrolling will be required to pick a session consisting of (2) specific days (same start time) each week to attend classes for a total of 6 hours a week (classes are approximately 3 hours long).
   
4. A non-refundable fee of $35.00 will be due when registering for classes which covers the cost of materials. There will be an additional $40.00 monthly fee (for non-union bartenders/apprenticesonly) for each month while attending the training classes.
   
5. Anyone missing more than eight (8) classes will be dropped from the program and must wait until registration begins for the next available session. Hours will not be carried over from one session to the next.
   
6. Classes are held at the Bartenders Union Training Center, next door to the Union Hall at 4825 W. Nevso Drive.

Registration times are from 8:00 am until 2:00 pm.

** Employment verification required at sign-up for non-union students (letter, employee badge, or paperwork identifying classification as Bartender or Apprentice).
